The Herald Goes to Press

Posted by Staff in Announcements on Tuesday, 13 October 2026

Welcome to the first issue of the Herald.

WoR: Wrath of Reckoning is a fan remaster of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, rebuilt in Unity from the original game files, with its own realm server. This site is where we report on it.

What you will find here

  • The Herald: news and dev diaries about real progress. When something works, we show it. When it does not work yet, we say so.
  • The Game: the three pairings, the 24 careers and Realm versus Realm, and what the remaster rebuilds.
  • Media: screenshots of WoR in development.
  • Realm Status: the realm lamp, read live from the realm server.
  • The FAQ: what we can answer today.

Accounts on this site will come later, together with the game's login service. Until then, the War Council on Discord is the place to talk to us. The Herald also has an RSS feed, for those who keep a reader.

Before You March
  • WoR runs on your own Warhammer Online game files. This site does not hand them out.
  • An account needs an invite code: enlist on this site.
  • It is a work in progress: expect rough edges.
